I think so too. Maybe it'd be different if the situation was more critical. Suicune is obviously not well, and something is wrong, but they also didn't seem to be on the verge of death exactly. If legendary pokemon can even die, that is. If they were, then maybe...

What I really wanted to ask you about - you work for the Aether Foundation, right? What're your thoughts on them? They are based here on the Islands, but I can't say I've interacted with them much outside of providing them with some information and photos after the prom and the Alph incident.

[Basically, he absolutely disagrees with their plan to take in Suicune, he's just not sure if their motives are kind but misguided, or if it is something darker.]

I don't work for them, I just volunteer at the Pallet Town location. You've gotta be like... Some kinda scientist to work-work for them. So I don't know a whole lot.

As far as my opinion goes, well... On the surface level they seem on the up and up. All the undiscovered Pokemon that live there are really well taken care of. But that's just it-- I only get to see the surface of things. The lower floors and labs and stuff are totally off-limits. They're really strict about it. And a lot of the employees are kinda... Fanatical? The Foundation means everything to them. Director Lusamine is practically worshiped by some of these guys.

So, I've never seen them do anything shady, but there are always rumors floating around about what goes on behind closed doors. And rumors don't happen for no reason.

A lack of information could be reason enough for rumours to occur even if nothing shady is going on.

[He types that as much for himself as for Kazuki. Perhaps more so for himself. It won't do to just jump to conclusions based on rumours that might be completely baseless.]

Have you ever met the director yourself? Or could you tell me what people say about her at least?

I've seen her in passing a couple of times. Like I said, the staff love her. And she's really good at speaking. The only weird thing I've noticed is that she's kinda... Obsessed with beauty? She talks about it all the time. About how beautiful she thinks Pokemon are, and how beautiful Aether Paradise is.
