Hi Armin! I got your call, what's up?

I know this might be a bit sudden, but I was wondering if you'd maybe like a Pokemon egg. Friends of mine had a batch of eggs and they are still looking for owners for a few of them.

[He hurries to add:]

Of course, it's also not a problem if you can't take one.

[Armin knows Kazuki doesn't really battle his Pokemon, so he figures he might also not have as many opportunities to collect new Pokemon. Which is why he had come to mind when Krieg had asked him if he knew anyone who might be interested. But he also doesn't just want to push anything on him.]

Well, sure! Do they need homes? What kinds of eggs are they?

[More Pokemon are just things that happen to Kazuki. He doesn't pursue them, but he'll keep them if they come up to his doorstep. Rather like this.]

They are a mixed batch of Aron and Whismur Eggs. Though I guess nobody will really know what they are until they've hatched. Are you familiar with those Pokemon?

Aron and Whismur, let's see... One's a little metal fella, and the other is a pink guy with folded ears, right?

That's right. Aron is a little... I suppose it sort of looks like a big bug. It's a steel type though. It eventually evolves into Aggron. Whismur is a normal type Pokemon that resembles a rabbit somewhat. It eventually evolves into Exploud.

I wouldn't mind either of those! Sure, I can take an egg.

Great! That would really help Krieg and Bertolt out a lot. I know you said you don't have any preference, but do you want me to try and find a particular species? I can't really tell them apart, but Whisper Bunny might be able to.

I think either'd be fine. Are Krieg and Bertolt friends of yours?

That's right. Bertolt is someone from my world too. Krieg is someone I met here. He's... [Armin is digging for an explanation of Krieg. Digging very deep. Krieg can't really be explained, only experienced.] He comes across as very dangerous and erratic, but he is not so bad once you get to know him.

....I see! [Because that's the only polite thing to say when someone calls their friend 'dangerous and erratic'.] There are a few people here from your world, huh?

[Armin has grown to like Krieg, but still, he feels the big man needs to come with some sort of warning attached to him. He's not so bad once you get to know him, but he can definitely see how strangers to him might, well, piss their pants in terror on meeting him.]

There's three of us now. There used to be more but-- ... you don't really get to control when people will come and go.

Oh, I'm sorry! I didn't know-- I didn't mean to bring that up.

[He'd be really sad too, if one of his friends showed up and then had to leave. That might be even more lonely than never having them here at all!]

[Armin goes back and forward on that. Sometimes he is glad for the time he and Eren got to spend here, the little mementoes he has of that period. Even if it had been for a little while, they had been happy and carefree, right? But sometimes it feels like a slap in the face, the idea that Eren was allowed to experience this world for a little while, and is now back home again, not even remembering that he was here. Eren hadn't wanted to leave. It doesn't feel fair, but then, the world has never been fair?]

No, it's okay. You couldn't have known.

[So that's okay but not okay. Kazuki won't pry further.]

Well, you can tell your friends I'm down for one egg. I hope they all find homes!

Thank you. I really appreciate it. Bertolt always finds a home for all the eggs he breeds somehow, but it's always a little easier if they are going to someone you already know a bit about. Or at least, that is how I would feel.

[But then, he's no breeder. The only time his pokemon have bred, he was very much not involved in the proceedings.]
