Please leave any mail for Kazuki here, whether of the electronic or physical variety! He'll get back to you ASAP!

[Armin blinks, surprised by that new tidbit of knowledge, before he files it away. Will he ever end up using that? Most likely not, but it is still interesting just to know.]

Do any other pokemon of yours have music inspired names?

It's interesting to see how everybody has their own way of naming their pokemon.

[Lots of music terms for Kazuki, meanwhile Armin prefers proper people names for his, and Jean... Jean just does whatever the heck he wants.]

So, if you were to get another Popplio, what would you name them?

I'm afraid I don't know much about ballet. I'll have to see if I can find a book on it in the library.

[Or does he perhaps know a person who knows a lot about this stuff?]

There really seems to be more to know about music than I ever realised. I knew I didn't really know much about it, I just didn't know it was this... detailed and extensive.

Oh no, I don't really have any musical talent.

[He can sing a little, but he doesn't, because he is well aware of how much he sounds like a girl when he does, and just. No. Don't want that.

Quick, a diversion!]

Ah, while we are talking anyway, how is your Lapras doing? Has he grown much?

That's great news. I just hatched four new Lapras myself. He can play with them too, the next time you come to visit. He might be able to make some friends his own age. W-well, roughly his own age.

[Armin can't help but laugh a little.]

I can see how that would happen. Especially when he was so young when he ended up on his own. Not to worry, I'm sure my pod would be more than willing to remind him of what being a Lapras is like. The young ones love playing games, and some of my adults join in on the fun as well.

I don't think Skye would let anything like that happen.

He is. He takes his duty as a protector and leader very serious too. Nobody gets to approach the pod without first being vetted by him.

No, I agree. I can't stay with them all the time, so I really depend on Skye to keep the pod save while I am not there. Not that it is an area many people come, but it is better to be safe than sorry.

They do. I wish it wasn't necessary, but there is no denying reality. Thankfully, Skye seems to agree with that, even without me talking to him about it. I often watch him teaching the younger Lapras. It starts out as play when they are young, but it becomes more like training when they get older.

I'm also considering teaching them all the HM moves I can before releasing them. I don't know if it will make a difference, but I want to do everything I can for them.

They are. And while moves like Surf and Waterfall can be pretty effective on land, it is nothing compared to how much damage they can do out at sea.

[Honestly, it is a pity people don't get to see water pokemon fight more in their actual element. They are so much more stunning that way.]
